Name of the Program	Cadre	Qualifications
B.Tech	Assistant Professor	Engineering Subjects: BE/B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. Science & Humanities Subjects: Master’s degree with First Class or equivalent in a relevant subject and must have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or similar accredited tests like SLET/SET.
	Associate Professor	BE/B.Tech. and M.E./M.Tech. in relevant subject with First Class or equivalent either in BE/B.Tech. or M.E./M.Tech. At least 6 research publications in SCI journals / UGC / AICTE approved journals. Minimum of 8 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least 2 years shall be post-Ph.D.
	Professor	Ph.D. degree in relevant field and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level. Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching/research/industry, out of which at least 3 years shall be at a level equivalent to Associate Professor. At least 6 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI / UGC / AICTE approved journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. scholars guided OR At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI / UGC / AICTE approved journals. Notes: For candidates from Industry/Profession, managerial-level experience equivalent to Professor grade is required. Public sector experience is preferred; private sector experience may be considered if the industry has a minimum standing of 10 years. Experience will be considered only after submission of a valid experience certificate. Experience certificate must include work profile, designation, and duration. Industry experience must be relevant to the discipline. 50% of industry experience may be considered as teaching experience, provided total experience is at least 10 years.
